• :Chinese New Year Parade The highlight of this year’s Chinese New Year celebration, Sydney’s annual Twilight Parade will be a feast for the senses with fabulous live music, amazing floats, flamboyant dragons, dazzling costumes, beautiful illuminated zodiac lanterns and much more. SOCIAL
• :Dragon Boat Races The Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Races have become the biggest dragon boat meet in the Southern Hemisphere with more than 3,000 paddlers converging on Darling Harbour for two days of heart stopping racing. SOCIAL
• :Sydney City Tour Come on an RA-led tour of the city of Sydney!! See all the major sites and find out all the ins and outs of Sydney from a local!! Meet at Reception (bring your own bus pass). SOCIAL
• :O-Week Day 1: Stir Fry Night Sate the hunger built up by outdoor sports by coming down to our stir fry night, brought to you by professional Chinese chefs!! A great way to grab a bite to eat before heading off to our O-Week party!!! FOOD, SOCIAL
• :O-Week Day 2: Post-Grad Dinner Whether you're studying a Graduate Diploma, Masters or PhD, come along to the Post-grad dinner and discuss workloads and funding grants (amongst other things!) over delicious Italian food at Pinocchio's with your fellow UNSW post-grads! FOOD, SOCIAL
• thursday:Chinese New Year Banquet Come celebrate the beginning of Chinese New Year with a delicious banquet provided by one of Kingsford's local restaurants! Red envelopes will be given out and delicious food will be eaten!! FOOD, SOCIAL
• wednesday:Outdoor Sports Come hang out and play a variety of sports including volleyball, soccer and rugby!! SOCIAL, SPORT
• monday:O-Week Day 1: Ice Breakers UNSW Village O-Week kicks off with a bang with our Tower ice-breakers!!! Come down to your tower courtyard and meet other residents in your towers as well as your tower RAs!! SOCIAL
• monday:O-Week Day 1: Outdoor Games Come and play a variety of sports including cricket, volleyball and soccer. Meet other Villagers and release a bit of that O-Week energy!! SOCIAL, SPORT
• monday:O-Week Day 1: Party at Scubar The first night of O-Week ends with the Scubar party!! Bring a $2 coin to get on the bus, some photographic ID to get in the club and head down to Reception to catch the bus to Scubar nightclub in the city!! There are cheap drinks available all night!!! SOCIAL
• tuesday:O-Week Day 2: The Amazing Race Come race your friends in the second Amazing Race challenge!! As teams, run against the clock (and each other!) around UNSW, The Spot and Randwick in a series of fun and funny challenges!! SOCIAL
• tuesday:O-Week Day 2: Freshers Dinner If it's your first year out of school and at Uni, come along to the Freshers dinner and bond over GPK pizza with your fellow UNSW Freshmen/women! Bring along some cash for dinner; drinks will be provided. FOOD, SOCIAL
• tuesday:O-Week Day 2: Dessert Bar Come chill out after a busy second day of O-Week with our Dessert Bar and chillout session. Some of our musically talented Villagers shall be performing acoustic tunes so make sure to come along to have a listen and an ice-cream! FOOD, SOCIAL
• wednesday:O-Week Day 3: Carnival and BBQ Come celebrate the middle of O-Week with the second annual Village carnival! Ride the mechanical surfboard, play a game of giant twister or pie your RA team whilst munching on a sausage sizzle cooked by Steve and the admin team! FOOD, SOCIAL
• thursday:O-Week Day 4: Speed mingling Come along to speed mingling in day 4 of O-Week!! You will have seven minutes to find out all you can about each person, and bring along a t-shirt for people to write on as a lasting memory of O-Week 2011!! SOCIAL
• thursday:O-Week Day 4: Outdoor cinema If you don't want to go to the ARC O-Week party, come along to our very own outdoor cinema, where we shall be screening Toy Story 3. Bring along a rug and some popcorn!! SOCIAL
• friday:O-Week Day 5: Beach Day Nurse your hangover after the ARC party with a relaxing day at the beach! Munch on a Subway sandwich, play some beach volleyball and go for a relaxing swim down at Coogee. Make sure to bring a bus pass as we'll be catching the M50 there and back!! SOCIAL
• friday:O-Week Day 5: Tower Dinner You are cordially invited to the tower dinner party, a place to mingle with the other residents of your tower. Please sign up at Reception if you would like to come. FOOD, SOCIAL
• saturday:O-Week Day 6: Rubik's Party Come dressed in all the colours of the Rubiks Cube (white, red, blue, orange, green, and yellow) and swap clothes with other people throughout the night until you only end up wearing one colour and therefore 'solve' your Rubik's Cube!!! SOCIAL
